Multicultural in Gazeta Wyborcza:
Photos from meeting
Another workshop meeting took place on 5th November 2009. Foreigners who
live in Poznań talked about problems they encountered in the city and
suggested how to "open" Poznań for newcomers from different
countries.
We would like to thank all the guests who took part in second
Open Cities + Multicultural meeting for active participation.

Polish language courses Interviews in Gazeta Wyborcza
On 9th of July our media patron, Gazeta Wyborcza, started to print
interviews with foreigners living in Poznan.
Interviews will be printed on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Feel free to send some comments to the newspaper!
GW: Obcy chcą zmieniać Poznań. Jak? Meeting!
The meeting of foreigners living in Poznań took place on May 28th. It
was organized within Multicultural and Open Cities projects. We would
like to thank you one more time for lively and engaged participation in
the panel.
We were discussing changes that are needed in the city to make it open
for new inhabitants.
Soon on the website you will find a rapport from our general thoughts
and already now we invite you to visit the photo gallery. The meeting was planned for two hours but last people left Patio Restaurant at 11 pm. The debate was passionate and certainly didn't use the topic. Next meeting is planned for half of June. Polish language courses
Within “Multicultural” project Forum Kultur has a pleasure to invite foreigners for Polish language courses at all levels of proficiency.
Courses give the opportunity to those who wish to study Polish on a long-term basis as well as to those who wish to learn survival Polish only (which means most useful expressions and basic vocabulary).
The courses are directed especially to those who can't afford courses in commercial language schools.

Multicultural in the media:
WELCOME
“Multicultural” is a project directed to inhabitants of Poznan interested in exploring the city’s cultural diversity. This project aims at creating ground for meetings and discussions between native Polish and people who come to Poland from other parts of the world. The aims of the project: To introduce and expand dialogue between people coming from various ethnic and religious groups. To initiate positive changes in Poznan and to encourage citizens to become more aware of the diversity of the urban community. To develop and discuss the idea that peaceful coexistence of different cultures creates an inspiring society. To facilitate everyday life of foreigners living in Poznan from administrative aspects to cultural life.
